The Pico Rivera Redevelopment Agency plays an active role in the revitalization of the community. Dedicated to showcasing the many positive aspects of living and doing business in the community, the Redevelopment Agency works toward improving blighted areas within the City.

Redevelopment Area Projects

*Pico Rivera Towne Center, a 60-acre open air shopping center, Chili’s Restaurant with big brand retailers including Borders Bookstore, Lowe's, and Walmart.

 

 


 

*Pico Crossing
A new 2.79 acre shopping center with retailers that include Rite-Aid Pharmacy, Starbucks, and Subway.

 


 

 

 

* Krikorian Theatres presents Pico Rivera Village Walk, a $22 million, 12-acre shopping center located at the southwest corner of Whittier and Paramount Blvd. Tenants: CVS Pharmacy.

 

 


* Veranda Crest (formerly Pico Rivera Hospital), a 42-unit condominium complex located on Rosemead Boulevard.

 


 

*Howard Johnson’s Hotel (formerly Pico Rivera Trailer Park), a 1.12-acre hotel development located on Whittier Boulevard.

 

 

 

* L.A. Fitness Center (formerly K-Mart store) located on Rosemead/Washington Blvd. This is part of an 8.10-acre Pico Rivera MarketPlace Shopping Center with tenants including Rubio’s Baja Grill, Panda Express and Fresh & Easy Market.

 

 

 


* Ralph’s Market Center, 5.4-acres located on the southwest corner of Passons Blvd. and Slauson Ave. – Reconstruction of CVS Pharmacy, demolition of Good Year Tire Building and construction of Autozone.
